Remote subsea trenchers

Our remote-controlled, self-propelled crawler trenchers offer a choice of fully hydrostatic or electro-hydrostatic and are driven by a surface power pack.

These machines feature:

• An endless cutting chain that can be fitted with various cutting tools to suit ground conditions
• Adjustable trench depth and widths for maximum versatility
• A vertical cutting head that trenches to depths of 6 metres and that can be interchanged from the surface for service and maintenance, enabling trencher and product to remain in situ for minimum downtime
• Automatic maintenance of cutting and installation equipment verticality
• Various chutes and compressors positioned behind the cutting head that can be mounted to install the product into the trench
