For more than three decades, Mastenbroek precision engineers have been at the forefront of cutting chain technology for deep trenching, developing a range of solutions specifically for precision on grade trenching in saturated and often abrasive soils. Mastenbroek deep trenchers are also used for soil engineering, where soil and binder are mixed in situ to create below ground structures for applications such as ground stabilisation or controlling movement of ground water.

Precision grading
- Mastenbroek electro hydraulic proportional machine control system uses laser or GPS to maintain precise depth and grade
- Our hydrostatic system is without compromise – generously sized with capacity in reserve to maintain grade control in varied and demanding ground conditions
- The verticality of the trenching mechanism is automatically maintained according to machine pitch and roll
- Our stable, quick-reacting machine control keeps the de-watering pipe box on-grade in 2 to 7.5-metre-deep trenches in soft to harder soils, with or without filtrate backfill material
- The entire trenching mechanism can be slewed to allow curved trenching and to enable the machine to reach de-watering pumps outside the working strip
- Trenching mechanism and machine control can be custom built to suit soil mixing requirements

- Cabins are ROPS certified and pivot out hydraulically for operator safety, visibility and comfort, giving maximum productivity over long days
- Mastenbroek machine control with high-precision GPS enables lower skill level operators to work to pre-designed plans with an increased accuracy of work and metres installed per day
